This photo shows the old entrance to the Gentofte Hospital. The lodges are the gatekeepers’, but they are not in use as such any longer. Gentofte Hospital is very important to Gentofte. It avoided closure during the drive to centralise the hospital system because our mayor, in anticipation of this, initiated a huge renovation of the hospital completed in 2013.
