I have always been interested in the connection between the Danish and the Russian royals. Perhaps since my father told me about his visits to a Russian princess in his younger days. The Hvidøre Palace is steeped in the Russian/Danish connection history, and its history is fascinating. So is the building. It overlooks the Coast Road (Strandvejen), and I would wager that only a few of the people passing the palace have any knowledge of this part of Danish history.
